The National University of Malaysia scholarships are fully funded and are divided into two types, Silver and Gold. The advantages of each scholarship vary.

Benefits of the National University of Malaysia Scholarship
Gold Scholarship
- Full exemption from all fees.
- A monthly salary of 3200 ringgit for PhD students, 2200 ringgit for master students.
- A living allowance of 300 ringgit per month.
- Round-trip ticket
- Visa fees.
Silver Scholarships:
- Exemption from tuition and registration fees.
- A monthly salary of 2000 ringgit for PhD students, 1500 ringgit for master students.
- A living allowance of 300 ringgit per month.

Eligibility for the National University of Malaysia
- Applicants cannot receive any scholarships from governments or any institution.
- Students must maintain an excellent academic level after obtaining the scholarship.
- Applicants must fulfill all admission requirements including the minimum English language requirements for each major.
Eligibility for the National University of Malaysia Scholarship
The conditions for applying to the National University of Malaysia scholarship 2021 vary depending on the type of scholarship offered.
Gold Scholarship:
- Master’s degree:
– Applicants must hold a bachelor ’s degree with honors from a recognized university or a GPA of 3.67 / 4.0.
– Must apply for a Master’s degree (Research or Mixed Mode). - PhD:
– Applicants must be graduates from an internationally recognized university.
– Must have at least 2 articles published in the Q2 classification fields.
Silver Scholarship:
- Master’s degree:
Conditions do not differ from the conditions of the golden scholarship for the Master’s degree. - PhD:
The conditions do not differ except for published articles. The articles must they may be under the Q3 classification.
Required Documents
There are two separate applications; One for admission at the National University of Malaysia and the other is for the scholarship.
The required documents are different depending on the major, but the general documents are:
- Academic Transcripts
- A copy of your diploma
- International test scores, if available and required by departments ( GRE/ GMAT.. etc)
- Resume.
- A motivation letter explaining why you are eligible.
- Photograph.
- A copy of published articles, if available
- English test certificates such as TOEFL or IELTS (if required).
How to apply to the National University of Malaysia Scholarship?
- Prepare the above documents.
- Apply for admission at the National University of Malaysia through the online application portal.
- Fill out the application form for the National University of Malaysia scholarships.
- Send all documents and application form to the official email of the university.
