Who can register for the free WHO courses with a certificate

There are no requirements for registering for the WHO online courses provided by the World Open WHO platform. The WHO training courses are available to all nationalities. Some general courses do not require prior knowledge of scientific subjects, others are intended for medical students, physicians, and health and medical professionals.

All courses are pre-recorded (not live sessions), so you can start the course immediately after registration, and you can pause and continue according to your preference and schedule. The course can also be selected based on the difficulty of the content from beginner, intermediate and advanced

What is the OPEN WHO Online Course Platform?

Open WHO is a new platform launched online to provide free WHO training courses to raise people’s awareness and enhance their knowledge in emergency situations. The courses offered are also good for those who people who plan to work in health emergencies or times of epidemics, or who wish to work in developing countries in international organizations.

The platform is managed by the Capacity Development of the WHO Health Emergencies Program.

Participants take part in an social online learning network based on interactive online courses and materials covering a variety of topics. Open WHO also serves as a forum for public health experts and a space for in-depth discussion on crucial issues.
